ST. NICK’S DAY?Now available to retail stores and crafters! We now offer our bags to retail locations all over the U.S.A. Since 1997 we have literally sold 1000’s each year and created a household tradition for many families. Retail stores will benefit not only from selling the bags, but by selling additional merchandise to fill the bags. It is a unique way to increase holiday sales. We are confident that these will be a hit in every location that makes them available and it is a tradition that will likely explode in the U.S. Every year on the 6th of December, it’s a custom to celebrate St. Nicholas Day. On that morning St. Nicholas makes the eyes of good children sparkle with joy. Because on the night before, he came with his bag of treats filled with gold coins, sweets or little surprises. Each year families pay tribute to St. Nicholas by giving to charities and children around the World in memory of the gifts of dowries that St. Nicholas gave to 3 poor sisters that were in desperate need for new shoes. To create more awareness of the tradition we have created what resembles a shoe bag embellished with a St. Nicholas image and a date so parents would not forget the day. The St. Nick bag is left at the door of a child’s bedroom and often filled with chocolate coins wrapped in gold foil and an orange (to signify gold). Some very common gift items to include are Christmas pajamas, small gifts like an ornament, candy and treats. These small gifts are not meant to compete with Christmas, they are just another small pleasure of the season and a way to add spirituality to the season! |
